How She Rises is an initiative of Virtual Partner, LLC (“How She Rises,” “we,” “us”). This policy explains what information we collect through howsherises.org, our forms, events, and emails, and how we use it.

Information we collect

Information you give us. When you join the How She Rises Community or How She Rises Insider, register interest in an event, apply to Founders Circle or the podcast, request a report, or contact us, we collect what you enter—such as your name, email address, mobile number, city, organization, role, and your answers to form questions.
Payments. Membership and ticket payments are processed by our payment provider. We do not store full card numbers.
Research. The Global Impact Survey can be completed anonymously. If you choose to share your name or email, we keep your research responses separate from marketing and membership records, and we never use research consent as marketing consent.
Automatically. Like most websites, we collect basic technical information (device, browser, pages visited) through cookies and similar tools to keep the site working and understand how it’s used.

How we use it

To deliver what you asked for: membership access, reports, event details, and replies to your inquiries.
To send email updates you’ve agreed to receive. Every email includes an unsubscribe link.
To send text messages only if you’ve opted in. Message and data rates may apply; reply STOP to opt out at any time.
To personalize invitations and connections in the community (for example, by city or interest).
To analyze and publish research findings in aggregate. Individual responses are never published with your name without your explicit consent.

How we share it

We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with service providers who help us run How She Rises (such as our website, email, scheduling, survey, and payment platforms), with event partners when you register for an event they co-host and we tell you so, or when required by law. Mobile numbers and SMS consent are never shared with third parties for their marketing.

Photos, video & recordings

We photograph, film, and record How She Rises events—including the Global Summit, community gatherings, virtual sessions, and podcast recordings—and use that media on our website, social channels, emails, reports, and promotional materials. Event registration pages and on-site signage tell you when recording is taking place. If you’d prefer not to be featured, tell a team member at the event or email us and we’ll avoid using identifiable images of you going forward and remove them from our own channels where we reasonably can. Virtual sessions may be recorded and shared with members; we’ll say so at the start.
